It has multi-folded therapeutic effects. Various experimental, in-vitro and clinical studies have established that Immbo possesses strong immune modulator effects due to its Natural Killer Cell, Anti-inflammatory and Anti-histamine properties. Besides it has depicted promising Hepato-protective properties against CCL4 , paracetamol and anti-tubercular treatment. It has also shown Anti-fibrotic properties in Thio-acetamide induced fibrosis in rats.

It has proved to be four times more effective and possess four times fewer side effects in comparison to Levocetirizine in a controlled clinical trial held in the patients of Persistent Allergic Rhinitis. Another trial also shows that it is more effective than the combination of Levocetirizine and Montelukast.

It starts responding within the first two to fifteen minutes of consuming the first dose in the patient suffering with acute stage of Allergic Rhinitis.
It also shortens the recovery period to half in the patients of Acute Viral Hepatitis.

The dosage of Immbo could be calculated at 60mg/ kg body weight divided into three doses per day. However, it could be given on an hourly basis on first day until the symptoms are subsided. Afterwards, it could be prescribed three to four times a day.

Its pharmacology is unknown. The eighteen herbs, used in its preparation are dominant in Kashaya and Tikta Rasa, Ushna Veerya with Laghu and Ruksha Guna, making it Pitta-Kapha Nashak. Mandoor Bhasma is well known for its Shothghna guna (anti-inflammatory properties). Thus, IMMBO works well in pitta-kapha dominant inflammatory disorders.

IMMBO is absolutely safe up to forty times of its regular dose and improves uremia and hypo-proteinemia in the patients of Chronic Kidney Failure. IMMBO has also shown four times fewer side effects (Grade II toxicity) as compared to Levocetirizine in a clinical study carried on the patients of Persistent Allergic Rhinitis.

It should not be consumed with acid enhancing agents such as Aspirin, Steroids and NSAIDs. Similarly tea, coffee, aerated drinks, reheated and deep fried food items should not be consumed with it.

Preferably, it should be consumed on empty stomach with saliva or with two spoons of water. However, in patients suffering with mild to moderate gastritis, bloating and abdominal discomforts, it could be given just before or after Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner for regular uses.

It could be used to any length of time as it possesses preventive and curative properties.
